I already have some on-ear, Sony wireless headphones, but those are quite chunky. I need something that I can wear during running and other types of exercising.

When I used to run, I had a set of fake Bose earbuds, and would wrap them over my ears, and under my shirt. Worked great, never felt tied up, and never got in the way. I also ran them behind me and either down my sleeve to an armband or down into my shorts pocket. Never gave me a problem doing that. Have you tried that at all?
When I bike I don't wear any unless I'm on the trainer, when it doesn't matter, because I don't move or have to hear traffic, so I'll just dangle them down to wherever my phone is.

Forget those. You'll want these: JayBird Freedoms . I have had a pair of these for a year or two, and they are fantastic! They stay in place and drown out a lot of ambient noise without the need to crank up the volume. I bought them @ $100 and thought they were a good value at that price.

I need wireless, as I plan to get a Sony SmartWatch 3, to use it as a song vault, and free up some room on my phone, for apps and shit.

Gotcha. Makes sense. I dont use wireless headphones, but I can tell you Denon is a totally solid company, and unless the product has a ton of terrible reviews to change my mind, I wouldnt second guess anything with their name on it.

No they're rubber. They go around your ear to keep them in place. Highly effective, too!
